Inviting friends into our home is something we all love to do.
Opening our home for others to dwell, to gather, to share a cup of tea or meal with is a special part of everyone's lives.
It is sacred to invite others to shine a little light down into our space and reciprocating that light for them when they need it.
This painting is titled after the song by Bliss n Eso - Friend Like You

These artworks reflect the year we all learnt a little more about what it was like to ‘be home’
Our home should be our sanctuary, where we feel our most authentic and safe.
For me personally, having left what was the family home with my daughters and our animals and setting one foot in front of the other relocating and rebuilding our sense of home.
In these paintings, I aimed to capture my own experience of the greater sense of ‘home’
Aussie birds of our backyard, Aussie music, house plants and the warm comforting tea I consume copiously - Just a few of the things that make a home my home and just a few of the things I captured in this series of paintings.
